Reverse Osmosis TFC Membrane 100 GPD (15 L/h)
In reverse osmosis filtration, tap water is pressed through a semipermeable membrane with extremely small pores against the natural osmotic pressure.
Filtration takes place at the molecular level:
While water molecules can pass through the membrane, the only slightly larger elements such as dissolved salts, lime/carbonates, nitrate, nitrite, heavy metals, organic compounds, pesticides, even radioactive particles and many other molecular compounds are retained by up to 99% and flushed out into the waste water.
Reverse osmosis membrane elements for domestic drinking water are one of the most reliable technologies in the world.
Fits all common reverse osmosis systems!
This membrane is suitable for all standard reverse osmosis systems.
Systems for aquaristics; (e.g. ROWA, DENNERLE, JBL, RONDEX, AQUAPRO, BLUEFILTERS and many more)
Reverse osmosis systems for drinking water treatment from a wide range of manufacturers;
(LEYCO, FiLWA, AQUASAFE, INGA, WAPURA, WATERINDUSTRY, MWS, h2o-Depot, BLUEFILTERS and many more)
Quality promise
This osmosis membrane is manufactured exclusively for FILTROTECH.
As with all products of our house brands, we set the highest standards for quality and performance here as well.
Especially with our membranes, it was important to us to be in no way inferior to the big names.
All our membranes meet the requirements of the EU Drinking Water Ordinance and are tested and certified by the international organization NSF for use in the drinking water/food sector.
Specifications:
Product name: TW-1812-100
Manufacturer: FILTROTECH
Flow rate: up to 100 gpd (approx. 370 liters / day)
Stabilized rejection rate: 98%
Maximum rejection rate: 99.9%
Minimum rejection rate: 96%
Flow rate and salt rejection are based on the following test conditions:
Contamination level: 250 ppm, water temperature: 77°F (25°C), pressure 50 psi (3.4 bar)
With different water pressure, the values for individual elements may deviate by +/-20%!
The total salt content and thus the conductivity of the osmosis water depends on the quality of the tap water (raw water).
