This system is not one of the widely available China-made products.
The filter system is carefully handcrafted by our skilled specialists in our German workshops.
We use only components that we have selected and tested ourselves.
For tubing connections and links between the individual components we rely on high-quality quick-connect fittings (QuickConnect - fittings).
Each system is built individually for you at express speed according to your wishes/configuration.
Filtration process:
Pre-filters:
For the pre-filters in this system we use patented cartridges from our cooperation partner "BLUEFILTERS". The NewLine product line stands out for its simple and practical design. To change a filter, the cartridges are simply screwed completely into or out of the dedicated holder. There is no additional housing that collects dirt and needs to be cleaned. The used cartridge is disposed of completely.
(1) The first pre-filter contains wound polypropylene yarn.
<> All mechanical impurities such as sand, sludge and other suspended particles
larger than 5 micrometres are filtered out here
(2) The second pre-filter consists of high-quality granular activated carbon.
<> This stage reduces chemical elements such as chlorine, pesticide residues
and many other compounds dissolved in the water.
(3) The third pre-filter contains a combination of the first two stages.
<> This stage acts like a second pass to further reduce stubborn impurities.
Membrane:
The membrane is the core element of every reverse osmosis system. It is responsible for the reverse osmosis the system is named after. Here the water is literally "split" at the molecular level. The membrane only lets through what is smaller than or equal in size to an H2O molecule.
As standard we install membranes of our house brand "FILTROTECH". Our membranes meet the highest quality standards and are in no way inferior to the products of the big names.
Optionally, you can also select a "Filmtec DOW" membrane in the configurator.
(4) The fourth filtration unit is a semi-permeable membrane.
<> The membrane filters approx. 99% of all substances out of the water.
These include limescale, strontium, PCP, DDT, fluorides, PAHs, benzene, toluene, xylene, fungi,
herbicides, pesticides, bacteria, viruses, nuclear elements and much more.
Buffer tank:
Since the production of purified water is inherently slow, reverse osmosis systems use an intermediate storage tank.
In the configurator you can choose between 3 sizes. Please note that the volumes are always to be understood as gross volumes. The actual amount of stored purified water is about half the gross volume and varies depending on the pressure in your domestic water line.
As a recommendation, you can base your choice on the size of your household:
For up to 3 people, the medium tank with 8 litres gross volume is usually completely sufficient.
For 4 or more people, the larger 12-litre tank is the better choice.
Post-filtration:
Since the water is low in oxygen after reverse osmosis and is therefore often perceived as flat, one or more post-filters are used to give some taste-carrying elements back to the water.
(5) As the fifth stage, this system uses a post-filter with washed activated carbon. This carbon is of extremely pure quality.
<> Its main purpose is to enrich the purified water with oxygen,
rounding off the pure and neutral taste of the dispensed water.
(6-7) Optionally, you can also add one or more further cartridges to refine the water.
